A Looong,
Father Rooster is situated on one of the last remaining beachfront hacienda homes on the North Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The original structure was built in 1917 and was home to the Guillen family who owned what is now the Neighborhood of Ocotal. In 2009, the home was re-built three meters further away from the ocean to comply with the new maritime laws of Costa Rica. A team of architects and builders worked to maintain the original look and feel of the building so that it may be conserved for future generations.
